I think you sang the Jesus part of “All For the Best.” I love that tune.The faster Judas part is fun. The thought of it put a smile on my face.

I imagine you’ve wondered if you serenaded him on his last day. I know you know what it’s like to be on the receiving end of a song from Puchero. I didn’t miss, that Mark responded to you, the same way you do to Puchero. What a gift. It’s no wonder he said what he did (“If I go to heaven, I’ll wait for you there.”).

When I finished reading this post the first time, I started singing a song. It’s another from Godspell. It was an automatic response:

Damn! Ten hours later, and I’m still shivering as I think about the gifts of your Camino. From Mark, and De-Facto, to Dilts, Puchero, and the Romanian woman. And the way I’ve slowed down, as we’ve walked. Thank you, again.
